2009 Pinewood Derby
On Thursday, July 23rd, the Kids Campus hosted its "Sixth Annual Pinewood Derby". The Pinewood Derby is a family tradition for Bill and Anne Peplow, parishioners from Church of Our Saviour in San Gabriel. For the past six years, Bill, his son Matt, and Vincent Prohias their friend have come to the Kids Campus for two extraordinary weeks of "Derby Madness"... During these two weeks, they have taught hundreds of kids how to cut, sand, shape and paint their own pinewood derby cars...
