Remembering Vera
In a recent sermon, Church of Our Saviour's Rector, Denis O'Pray said that in leading a Christian life it is not enough to simply survive... we must prevail. In her "century plus" on this earth, Vera Cleaver did just that... she not only survived life's tribulations and inequities, she prevailed. And she did so by making the world a finer place for her presence in it. She was tough, and funny and unique. And she will be greatly missed...
