Our Saviour Center's 2025 Thanksgiving Meal Distribution

Our Saviour Center was able to make a tremendous impact on our community through our Thanksgiving Meal Distribution where we distributed 375 turkeys, 300 hams, and 200 chickens to a total of 875 families to help them celebrate their Thanksgiving. This came at a critical time for our neighbors as we serviced 3,600 clients this past month.

We are grateful to have the opportunity to provide our community with the ingredients to celebrate Thanksgiving this year in addition to the vital resources we provide every week.

Our Thanksgiving Meal Distribution was an effort made possible by the support of multiple individuals and organizations. We express our gratitude to Los Angeles First District Supervisor Hilda Solis and the San Gabriel Water Company, as well as the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank for their donation of turkeys. Additionally, we want to thank Assemblymember Mike Fong of the 49^th District for his generous donation, which enabled us to purchase additional turkeys.

We greatly appreciate all those who contributed to our Thanksgiving Meal Fundraiser. Your donations fueled this event and supplied 875 families with Thanksgiving meals this year. Lastly, our distribution occurred without issue thanks to all our volunteers who gathered at Our Saviour Center on November 24^th and 25^th to assist in packing, distributing, and cleaning up. We were blessed to have volunteers from both St. Mark’s and Church of Our Saviour, including Rev. Jeff Thornberg, who all arrived with so much energy and worked with great passion. Your interaction with our clients further enhanced their experience and truly embodied Thanksgiving.

Our Saviour Center is delighted to have such a network of strong supporters and community members who work tirelessly for those in need. We want to thank everyone once more for supporting our mission of sharing love, hope, and resources with our neighbors in need and providing families with a warm and compassionate meal this Thanksgiving.
